This is, without a doubt, one of my favorite soundtracks (and I own a lot of them). It's what is getting me through my busy afternoon right now. Although I don't remember when many of them played in the show, I can remember a few, especially "Lily Dreams On," played in the Season One finale. It fit perfectly. My favorites are definitely Long Time Coming, On You Porch, Ocean City Girl, I Know, I Know I Know, and my all-time favorite: On Your Porch. But, I do really love them all. After Gilmore girls, Veronica Mars was my favorite show. And it's an extremely close second. And it's definitely my favorite soundtrack, although I love the Gilmore girls soundtrack as well.
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about buying this since I started watching the show a few months back. The music supervisor is SO GOOD. "Lily Dreams On" is gorgeous and even "We Used to be Friends" by the ever-cornier-and-more-outdated Dandy Warhols has a special place in my heart (in that now I can't hear that song without picturing Veronica and that telephoto lens...) Burn it for me? haha. And GG... you can't beat those endless bahbahbahs.
